	Easy Clean Fire Escape Hinges As the fire escape hinge is designed to keep the opening casement against the hinged side, it is not possible to clean the window by placing your hand between the frame and the casement as in the normal type of hinge. The EASY CLEAN hinge has the advantage of the fire escape hinge, but by operating a lever on the two hinges, the window can slide to the opposite end of the hinge track, giving easy access to the outside of the window. 	Door Restrictor This is a device that fits into a groove common to all UPVC doors (called the EVRO groove), situated on the top of the door leaf. It has a sliding adjustable shoe which acts as a damper on the door movement, and a stop which stops the door at a position selected during fitting. (90 degrees is the normal). A spring loaded catch allows the restirctor arm to be disconnected and allows the door to swing back fully. These are for outward opening doors - particularly on conservatories.
